International relations

Hello, my fans, friends, and fellow writers!

I’m Hose from Finland and this is my home here on the internet. I’ve been making music for as long as I can remember. I made my first song when I was about five years old. I sang before I learned to speak and in the fifth grade I started playing guitar in the class band and that’s where songwriting started. I submitted my first song to a record company in middle school, but they politely declined. They did encourage me to continue writing songs though, and boy did I write.

The problem was that I could easily make melodies, but I couldn’t make lyrics that much I had one lyricist with whom I made a few songs. When I was in high school, I got an electric guitar and the genre changed a bit heavier than before. My mom said that if I had put as much effort into reading school books as I did into playing the guitar, I would have gotten only A’s in high school

I started doing gigs – mainly with karaoke machines as a host. Then all things related to music faded away for a while, except for occasional singing competitions. For some reason, I had this idea that you can’t be successful as a music creator if you haven’t won some singing competition. (That’s right! I don’t understand..)

A few years ago, I started researching what kind of instruments and tools are used to make music today and whether the phone in my hand could be used for that. I noticed that there are many programs for the phone that could be used at least to help make music, if not to produce music entirely. In the spring of 2019, I decided to start making music on my cell phone as much as I could, to prove to myself, and to see when the creativity would run out. However, it didn’t, it started to flourish. Creativity is a strange source, when you draw from it, it only increases. Then in the spring of 2020, I decided to take the project forward and start directing my career more toward the music industry. At the time, I still didn’t know what would be my greatest interest in the music industry, but the matter has slowly become clear piece by piece.

The year 2020 was in many ways a challenging time both on a personal and global level. The year was colored by the loss of many close people and a kind of culmination point of my existential crisis. It’s a difficult situation when you find yourself in a hole that you completely wanted to be in but suddenly wake up again to realize that that hole is not what you want but in reality, everything else. Suddenly you see yourself in the exact situation you’ve been trying to avoid all your life. There are millions of ideas in your mind, all of which would benefit all of humanity on some level, but you are stuck in a state where nothing can be done without irreversible consequences. You just can’t function without tearing your whole life into pieces.

I started the music career path again from where I was about 15-20 years ago. Before I gave up and decided to ”go to work” in those ”real jobs” that don’t pay and aren’t valued in the end, but without which this world just wouldn’t run. Now I’m on the threshold of something new, on a ledge where I’m trying wings. I haven’t climbed the mountain yet, but first I’ll try closer to the ground to see what kind of lift I can achieve.

About ten years ago I had a business idea for the biggest record company in the world that doesn’t release any records. Now I have noticed that the development lines that I outlined in the action plan at that time have come true. And it’s not the first business idea that has come to fruition much later than I’ve outlined it myself. There are plans for a new age 360 music company, which will spin yet another round..

In this blog, I talk about making music, writing songs, analyzing artists and their careers, thinking about entrepreneurship and the meaning of life, entertaining with funny stories, introducing mobile music making, and publishing songs.

Welcome to the journey to becoming a music professional, this is the start of either a huge success or a great dive.
